The three S's, automated

Scan. Save. Send. Done right.

The court rejects filings over tiny format mistakes. eFiling Assistant handles the rigid parts so your staff never has to memorize them.

01 — SCAN

Add your documents

Drop in your pleading and annexes — PDFs, or photos and scans the app converts to PDF for you, flagging anything the court would reject.

02 — SAVE

Court-perfect filenames

Every file is auto-named in the exact prescribed format — designation, docket number, the works. You never type the fragile parts.

03 — SEND

One click, from your Gmail

The transmittal e-mail goes out with the correct subject, body, and CC — sent from your own e-mail of record, with proof kept in your Sent folder.

Why offices trust it

Guardrails against
"deemed not filed."

Catches the traps

Non-PDF, password-protected, archives, corrupted files, missing CC, wrong sender — flagged before you send, not after the court ignores it.

Your own e-mail of record

Sends from your firm's Gmail — never a stranger's server. It even checks you're signed in as the right account so it isn't "deemed not received."

Keeps your proof

The transmittal lands in your Gmail "Sent" folder, and you can download a record for the case file — your proof that it went out on time.

Updates itself

Silent auto-update built in. When the rules change or we ship a fix, every install picks it up on next launch — nothing to re-download.

Windows & Mac

A real desktop app, not a website. No subscription, no accounts to manage — a one-time license per office, and your documents stay on your computer.

Nothing leaves your device

All preparation happens locally — no uploads, no cloud. The only thing that travels is the e-mail you choose to send to the court.

Because it's an independent app, your computer shows a one-time security prompt the first time. It's expected and safe — Windows: “More info → Run anyway.” Mac: System Settings → Privacy & Security → “Open Anyway.” Full steps in the install guide.

Questions

Good to know

How do I get access after downloading? +
The app is free to download, but signing in is tied to your license. After you purchase, your Gmail address is added to your license — then you just open the app and sign in with that account. No keys to paste.
My Mac says the app "can't be opened." Is that normal? +
Yes — it's the standard macOS prompt for an app outside the App Store, and it's a one-time step. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click “Open Anyway.” If it still won't open, run this once in Terminal: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/eFiling Assistant.app". Full walkthrough in the install guide.
Does it upload my clients' documents anywhere? +
No. Everything is prepared on your own computer — no servers, no cloud, no database of your files. The only thing that ever leaves your device is the transmittal e-mail you choose to send to the court, from your own Gmail.
Which cases and courts does it cover? +
Civil cases before the first- and second-level courts, per A.M. No. 10-3-7-SC and the Interim Rule on Electronic Filing (Rule 13-A) — including those under the Rules on Summary Procedure and Small Claims.
Do I need to reinstall to get updates? +
No. eFiling Assistant updates itself silently — it checks on launch and installs the latest signed version automatically, so every office is always current.
How much does it cost? +
A one-time license per office — no subscription. E-mail for pricing and to get your license set up.
